Swedish-Greek Association of Chania

The Swedish-Greek Association is for all people with Swedish roots that are now located in Crete. This organization meets once a month and has a quarterly newsletter.

The Deaf Association of Chania

The Deaf Association meets in Chania and its meeting place is well marked with signs positioned around the old city. There is also a school for the deaf that has been founded in Kissamos and operates according to the National Association for the Deaf. The school, along with the classes will provide rooms for board for those children that come from far away villages in Crete. Telephone: 28220-23475.
